16-week dbt group

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment modality that was originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder. However, it is now used to treat a variety of mental health concerns. We believe that EVERYONE could benefit from DBT skills (us included!). Join us for 16 weeks of skills-based group therapy that will help you:


  • Improve your relationship with yourself
  • Improve your relationships with others
  • Learn how to effectively regulate your emotions
  • Improve your sense of self worth
  • Set and maintain boundaries 
  • Connect with others who embark on this journey with you 


What to expect:

  • 16 2-hour weekly sessions 
  • Small group size (max 12 participants)
  • A copy of our DBT workbook to support you between sessions
  • Facilitated by licensed professionals
  • Confidential and trauma-informed
  • Guidelines to ensure the safety of all participants
  • Connecting with others and empowering one another

Tammy Cummings, MA, RCC

Tammy is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, with training in DBT group and individual therapy. She combines multiple approaches into her sessions including, CBT, DBT, and the Gottman method for relationship issues and couples therapy. With her integrative and flexible approach she offers a meaningful and non judgmental space so that you can gain a deeper knowledge of yourself and your partner.

She specializes in working with adults who are facing challenges with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss. I am passionate about living your best life by working on improving the relationship within yourself.
